About Our School

Welcome to the Glanduff National School website. Our school is a co-educational, Catholic school in the parish of Knockcroghery. We are situated in the heart of Ireland, 15 minutes from Athlone town and 15 minutes from Roscommon town. We cater for boys and girls from Junior Infants to 6th class. We currently have 147 pupils, 7 mainstream class teachers, 3 special education teachers and 3 special needs assistants. We take great pride in our wonderful, active and green school. Our staff work in partnership with our parents to promote spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of our pupils. We are especially keen to foster personal and academic development in a caring, secure, challenging environment so that all of our pupils can reach their full potential. Please take time to explore our website and we hope it showcases the distinct character of our school. If you have any queries or would like to find out more about our school please feel free to contact us anytime and we would be more than happy to assist you in any way we can.
